We’re Back Up!!

We’d like to thank everyone for your patience as we dealt with these website issues. If you have sent us an email over the past few days and haven’t received a response, please resend it and we’ll get to it as soon as we are able. However, please take note of the domain and email address changes: www.crossfitdubuque.com and phil@crossfitdubuque.com (there is no longer a hyphen in the address).

Learning all of this, for us, is like learning any new skill. We approach the task in true CrossFit fashion and are keeping at it until we are proficient. All of us have come across movements or structures in WOD’s that are weak points. From a physical/mental standpoint, CrossFit works to bring those weaknesses up to par.

Dealing with this website stuff has been the equivalent of the brand new CrossFitter learning the air squat. Most people will be able to move up and down in a squat-like manner, but it’s not efficient or the best way to move to insure longevity. That’s us with the site. Like the poor squatter though, we reach out for some quality coaching, correct our mistakes and work to manage the site in the most efficient manner possible.

Recognizing that we have a weakness is a tough thing. Asking for help is usually tougher. Whether in the gym, your personal life, or your job, strive to find those weak points and make them something to not fear. Attack life with the same mental attitude with which you approach the WOD and enjoy the same kind of rush and confidence you feel outside the gym as well as in.

Keep checking back for updates. We’ll be posting pictures as CrossFit Dubuque begins to take shape. As we get closer to our open date, we’ll have more information and events posted as well.
